May Outdoor Mini Family Session

A perfect spring day, picnic blanket and camera at the ready for a mini outdoor session to catch up with this gorgeous family seven months after their newborn shoot in the autumn.

We chose Hanae and Sacha’s favourite local park as the location, with plenty of open and sunny spots as well as more shaded areas to avoid the bright afternoon sun. We wanted to capture a healthy mix of candid interactions and more posed but dynamic family photos. We were quite conscious of the time as little Olivia had been feeling a bit fussy, but even within a relatively brief session we got a lovely selection of photographs for them to enjoy.

A mini session is a wonderful option for those families who may be a bit weary of committing to a full photo session, but who would still like to have the experience of having their family photos taken professionally. With a small amount of planning and a flexible approach, these sessions can be lighthearted and highly rewarding!
