November Home Family Session

Hanae and Sacha welcomed their gorgeous daughter, Olivia, into the world in early October and I had the privilege of photographing their first family session in the serenity of their home along Lake Geneva.

Warmth and calm filled their beautiful apartment, a reflection of Hanae and Sacha’s gentle and down to earth personalities. We wanted to focus on capturing organic moments and interactions between the family of four (not forgetting to mention an integral member of the family, their lovely dog Uji), integrating parts of their daily routines with Olivia, from feeding and changing her to walking along their usual path through town.

This session is a perfect reminder that you can value having beautiful photographs of your family and at the same time not wanting to sacrifice being yourself and “performing” for the camera. There is a very happy place to be found when you are clear about your preferences and your photographer is able to work flexibly to accommodate them!
